Garden Project - Post planting stage 1 almost complete

Just off on holiday and so taken a few pictures of the garden so far, really pleased with how the planting is looking, looking forward to seeng all the plants settle in and start to grow.

Just need to find myself a gardener now to keep control of all the weed action!

Week 1 planting completed and then a weekend of gravel laying / tidying up with the kids and we are really getting there..... looking forward to week 2 and the central section being completed. Red Oaks from Italy ordered and in transit ready for the feature trees by the gateway

Barn Cottage Garden Project Week 1 end

Busy end to the week but all the major groundworks done - weather held off for us till Friday and then the heavens opened but luckily managed to sneak a half day in to finish off. Great work by Andy on the machinery!  Plan really starting to take shape - patio paving and sand all in place for some laying next week.  Our Play Gunboat has finally been dug into the ground and looks fantastic -kids loved getting it all ship shape!

Garden Project Day 3

Today we have really seen the Beds taking shape, the two formal tree pits are dug and the rear evening patio area laid out.

Ground works day 2 - majority of the grass removal has been completed - a great start and exciting to see the space taking shape.
